All of our Toyota 22RE engines are remanufactured by Sunwest Automotive Engines in Washington State. Our engines come with ALL NEW; pistons and rings, rod and main bearings, oil pump, timing components (metal guides), timing cover is milled to the deck of the block, a full gasket /seal kit to complete your installation, a new cylinder head casting, an RV camshaft, professionally done machining on superior equipment, and assembled with pride.

Our 22RE Standard & Supreme engines come with a 30 month, 30,000 mile warranty. $800.00 refundable upon inspection & deemed rebuildable core deposit. We ship all over the US, call for rates, and additional fees for Residential, Liftgate, and or Limited Access). This engine fits 1985-1995 Toyota cars and trucks (fuel injected or carbureted). Other Toyota engines are also available!

Engine is pre-run on our sim test machine. You will get a print out of the actual oil pressure, oil flow, compression and engine load of your engine.

You will be e-mailed with all the torque specifications for the engine along with all the freight information.

Machining process performed on engine:

Engine and head is cleaned all bolt holes checked and repaired
Surfaces are checked and milled if needed
Blocks are bored and honed
Rods are reconditioned and pin bushing installed new
Crank shaft is ground and polished
Cylinder head is pressure tested, cam line is checked, all bolt holes taped and repaired if needed. We check the thickness of the heads all within the factory specs, heads 3-angel cut on a serdi machine and milled with a CBN mill

Valves will be adjusted, and engine will be set on T.D.C. #1
Timing covers are installed on bare block and milled with the deck to ensure a perfect fit.
New oil pump will be installed and primed.
